Shiro i Shiro
The moment you step through the doors of Shiro i Shiro (Japanese for White Castle), you are transported to a fantastic fairy tale- like environment. Tall ceilings, a stark white interior and blue accented chairs make Shiro i Shiro the perfect place for Cinderella and the Prince to have a magnificent feast in these modern times.

Designed in Korea, the artists Hyunjung Kim and Troung Ngu created a concept where classic European Baroque is complemented by subtle Asian minimalism. For instance, a traditional Baroque chandelier sits in between two Asian minimalist cylindrical lamps.

It is almost like stepping inside a European castle with a soft-asian inspired flare. The environment is light and feels like you have stepped into a heavenly paradise. Music is a mixture of classic French, disco and upbeat contemporary music.

It is not surprising that the place is always packed with the social elite of Berlin. Shiro i Shiro is a frequent paparazzi hangout because of the multitude of stars that walk through their doors. Mick Jagger, Naomi Watts, Jodie Foster, Michael Jordan and Sharon Stone have all been spotted here.
